About Dinah in Color:

Lucy and Gail began Dinah in Color in 2003 as a lawn party at their home in Palm Springs. Today it is the premiere vacation destination for lesbians of color, their friends and partners attending the Dinah Shore weekend each April. Women looking for diversity and a different approach choose Dinah in Color to enjoy four days of entertainment, relaxation, arts, culture and knowledge to be sampled as you like. This year Dinah in Color leaves Palm Springs and the Dinah Shore weekend for a new adventure in Las Vegas!

The logo is the work of New York author Alexis De Veaux whose latest book is the award-winning, Warrior Poet, a biography of Audre Lorde. The sketch came with a thank you note “for the wonderful time I had at Dinah in Color.”
